First up is Past Life Regressionist Didi Graves, who offers hypnotherapy at Seattle Healing. Learn more about Didi, what brought her to the field of hypnotherapy, and why you should try it. How long have you been practicing hypnotherapy? For about three years now. How did you get into the field? I had been reading Outrageous Openness by Tosha Silver. It’s about surrendering to the Divine, however you see that. When we are able to surrender our own wants and desires to the Divine, action arises. We don’t need to make everything happen. So one morning, I was reading The Hypnotist’s Love Story, which I randomly had borrowed from the library. I put the book down, looked up “hypnotherapy classes seattle,” found my teacher at Bastyr University, and signed up. Also, I had done hypnotherapy in the 1980s, and it had been very helpful to me. So that started me on this path. What do you love about hypnotherapy? The realm of the subconscious mind is completely fascinating to me. I think of it as a landscape, a place to which you can journey to do your inner work and discovery. I call it the imaginal mind.
